Foxglen takes on Colorado!

Summer in the Rockies is one of our favorite show circuits throughout the year, and this year proved to be no different! We had a full team for the last three weeks of the circuit, which was filled with many victories and successes as well as some lessons learned!

We started out in the professional divisions with our pro riders Jim Hensen and Sam Berry. Jim dominated the Performance Hunter 3'3" division, earning the championship with Margaret Lattimore's fantastic young horse Supreme 6 and the reserve championship with our new superstar, Ainslee Gregg's Valentine.

Sam Berry also took excellent ribbons warming up our equitation horses Costa and Jadivo, as well as clinching a championship in the USHJA 2'9" Hunter on Ainslee Gregg's Toska.

On Thursday, the rest of the group joined the party for a fun weekend of hunter showing. Margaret Lattimore took champion on Supreme 6 in the Children's Hunter 14-17 and Ainslee Gregg did the same on Valentine in the 3'3" Juniors in addition to winning the 3'3" Junior Classic as well. Mackenzie Hamilton took reserve on her young horse Bijou SSH in the younger Children's. Our Adult rider Susan took top placings on her mare Alavanta, including winning an all-day warm-up of more than 40 riders. Mia Gradick and her horse Brazos took top call in the 3'3" Junior under saddle and earned fantastic placings over fences in a very competitive division. Awesome job ladies!

In the equitation ring, Izabella Millimet and her young horse RVF Carlyle took 6th in the NCEA Medal as well as earning many top 3 placing's in the Junior Hunters. Our newest partnership, Eva Gould and Jadivo, earned many great ribbons in the Children's Equitation and Dorothy Roberts Memorial Medal despite only knowing each other a little over a month. We are excited to see them grow together! Margaret Lattimore also took home great ribbons on her equitation horse Costa. We are so excited to have Margaret back in the show ring and looking forward to seeing her at Maclay Regionals in September.
